KHARAGPUR, 6 DEC: The Agribusiness Incubation Foundation (ABIF) of IIT Kharagpur made a strong impact at the 15th edition of Agrovision, held from November 22–25 at the PDKV Ground, Dabha, Nagpur. The event, inaugurated by Mr. Mohan Yadav, Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, under the leadership of Chief Patron Nitin Gadkari, Union Minister for Road Transport & Highways, brought together key stakeholders to explore cutting-edge solutions and technologies shaping the future of Indian agriculture.
ABIF showcased innovations from 17 dynamic startups, emphasizing sustainable and technology-driven agricultural advancements. Highlights included Maxgreen Tractor’s battery-operated tractor, Bhaumya Innovations’ tractor-operated stone picker machine, Rural Rise Agrinery’s small agricultural tools, Tribmoon Agroforestry’s AI-powered timber value calculator, and Animeta Agrotech’s veterinary advisory platform with herbal medicines.
Mr. Dipanshu Tembhare, TBI Manager at ABIF, represented the organization and engaged in fruitful discussions with Shri Nitin Gadkari Ji and Dr. Sharad Gadakh, Vice-Chancellor of Dr. Panjabrao Deshmukh Krishi Vidyapeeth, Akola. The dialogue revolved around ABIF’s commitment to driving sustainable growth, fostering entrepreneurship, and integrating innovative technologies into the agricultural sector.
Agrovision 2024 stood out as a robust platform for collaboration, featuring over 400 exhibitors, 30 specialized workshops, and an estimated attendance of more than 200,000 farmers. The event underscored India’s strides in agricultural innovation and provided an unparalleled networking opportunity for agri-entrepreneurs and industry leaders.
Through its active participation, ABIF reaffirmed its dedication to empowering rural communities, supporting emerging agri-businesses, and contributing to the transformation and modernization of India’s agricultural landscape.
