NEW DELHI, 23 DEC: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) concluded a two-day meeting of its national office bearers on Saturday, with a primary focus on preparing for the 2024 Lok Sabha elections and discussing arrangements for the grand inauguration of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya scheduled for January 22 next year, according to party sources.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah attended the final day of the meeting held at the party headquarters in the national capital. BJP President JP Nadda presided over the gathering, which included the presence of prominent party leaders, state chiefs, general secretaries, in-charges, and other office-bearers.

Among those in attendance were CR Patil, G Kishan Reddy, Arun Singh, Tarun Chugh, BD Sharma, Dinesh Sharma, Vasundhara Raje, and Tejasvi Surya.

Sources revealed that discussions during the meeting prominently featured the Ram Temple and the party’s preparations for the grand inauguration. Leaders deliberated on how to carry forward a comprehensive public outreach related to the historic event.

The results of recently concluded assembly polls in five states were also reviewed, with the BJP celebrating victories in three of them, providing a significant boost to its campaign for the upcoming Lok Sabha polls. Emphasizing a regional strategy, the party is expected to give special attention to southern states while formulating campaign programs.

In addition to election preparations, the meeting addressed the BJP’s expansion plans, including the Vishwakarma Scheme, which came under discussion. The sources mentioned that the party also deliberated on the Lok Sabha election strategy, particularly in light of efforts by the INDIA alliance parties to contest the polls together.

The meeting agenda also included a review of the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra, a public outreach initiative, and discussions on the training of elected representatives.

With the national office bearers collectively shaping the party’s vision for the future, the BJP aims to consolidate its position ahead of the crucial 2024 Lok Sabha elections, leveraging recent electoral successes and focusing on key issues such as the Ram Temple inauguration.
