They also tried to take the Trinamul Congress flags down from her residence at Patra Bazar in Krishnagar.

Tension brewed up soon when the BJP workers were caught red handed by the Koushani’s personal assistants and party workers. They immediately called the Kotwali police and handed over the rival party workers before them.

The Kotwali police based on the complaint lodged by the TMC candidate have arrested two BJP workers in connection with this matter.

“I think it is very offensive and dirty initiative by the rival party workers because they raided a woman candidate’s personal residence at around 1 am for only to put up posters and flags. When asked they informed that they were hired by the rival party to put up posters and flags. They didn’t know that it was my residence”, Koushani said.
