KRISHNAGAR, 23 OCT: The Kotwali police under Krishnagar Police District on Saturday arrested 15 persons for running their shops violating night curfew directives which have been enforced again from 21 October after the number of covid cases started increasing in the district.

A team of police officials headed by the Additional Superintendent of Police, Akshat Garg conducted raids in Krishnagar town at around 11 pm and nabbed 15 people who kept their shops open even after warning issued by the police administration.
The cops arrested the shop owners from different prominent places in the town and specific cases will be initiated against the law violators, said Mr Garg.
