Floating Solar Plants, the latest addition to the solar energy landscape, are becoming the third pillar alongside Rooftop Solar and Ground Mounted Solar. These solar plants are strategically installed on water bodies such as dams and reservoirs, minimizing evaporation loss by up to 70%. The technology seamlessly integrates into existing reservoirs, providing an eco-friendly solution that leaves zero footprint at the end of the project lifecycle.
Incubated at the state-of-the-art IIT Guwahati – Technology Incubation Centre (IITG-TIC), Quant Solar has become a trailblazer in the clean-tech revolution, making significant contributions to the field of renewable energy. The startup’s success is rooted in its ability to combine cutting-edge technology with environmental sustainability.
