KRISHNAGAR, 11 NOV: Kanyashree University, a beacon of women’s education, held a vibrant orientation program on Wednesday to warmly welcome its new cohort of students. The event, graced by esteemed guests, including Nadia District Magistrate Arun Prasad and Kanyashree University Vice-Chancellor Dr. Kajal Dey, was a testament to the institution’s commitment to empowering women through education.
Special guests at the occasion included Kalyani University Vice-Chancellor Dr. Amlendu Bhunia, Registrar Dr. Devabrata Saha, Examination Controller Dr. Anjan Kumar Dam, and Professor of the Education Department Dr. Aniruddha Saha, among others.
During his address, Kalyani University Vice-Chancellor Dr. Amlendu Bhunia emphasized the significance of time in shaping a bright future. “Time should be given importance to make one’s life bright; time cannot be wasted,” he remarked, urging the new students to value and utilize their time effectively.
District Magistrate Arun Prasad delivered a motivational message, encouraging the students to work diligently towards their life goals. “To reach the goal in life, you have to work hard until you reach that goal,” he asserted, emphasizing the importance of perseverance and hard work.
The Vice-Chancellor of Kanyashree University, Dr. Kajal Dey, concluded the event with an inspiring speech. She urged all the women present to “Stand up, wake up, and until you reach your goal, Themona Ichcha Shakti rules the world.” Her words resonated with a spirit of empowerment and determination, setting a positive tone for the academic journey that lies ahead for the new students.
