KRISHNAGAR, 12 JAN: Krishnagar municipality in association with the Trinamul Congress North Nadia district unit and its women wing on National Youth Day on Wednesday felicitated a group of poor women entrepreneurs who vowed to achieve new heights of success and self-reliance on their own efforts.
Naresh Das, chairperson of the Krishnagar municipality administrative board, Jayanta Saha, TMC Nadia North district president, Anupam Biswas, former councilor and Rupa Nandi, TMC Nadia North women district president felicitated the women and praised their efforts to become self-reliant.
The felicitation programme was held at Post Office crossing where the leaders announced they would felicitate poor entrepreneurs from each municipal ward.
