KOLKATA, 6 APRIL: Trinamul Congress state general secretary and party’s spokesperson Kunal Ghosh today lodged a complaint against Suvendu Adhikary with Chief Election Commissioner for deliberately interfering with the poll process.
Suvendu Adhikary and some BJP leaders deliberately went to Rabindra Sadan police station and threatened the officers of dire consequences if they do not discharge their duties impartially on 12 April by-poll of Ballygunge constituency.
Mr Ghosh in his letter to CEC requested him to take steps against Suvendu Adhikary for deliberately interfering with the poll process and threatening the officials on poll duty.
While answering the reporters, Mr Ghosh said that Centre is using the agencies against the Opposition. “In our state, the BJP, Congress and CPI-M are united against Trinamul Congress,” he said.
