KRISHNAGAR, 1 DEC: Lions Club International 322 B1 successfully organized Mission Smile 3 at Nagarhata village, bringing much-needed healthcare services and support to the local tribal community. The event, attended by over 200 representatives from 19 district clubs and numerous distinguished guests, made a significant impact on the lives of the villagers.
The comprehensive health camp catered to about 450 residents, offering a range of medical services, including general health checkups, sugar tests, dental and gynecological consultations, eye exams, and pediatric care. A team of dedicated medical professionals ensured that every attendee received personalized attention.
In addition to healthcare services, the event provided essential items to the villagers. Each family received mosquito nets to combat malaria risks, and all attendees were gifted winter essentials, including blankets, sweaters, and sheets. A special community meal was arranged, ensuring no one left hungry.
District officials and community leaders commended Lions Club International for their dedication to improving the lives of underserved communities. “This initiative not only addresses immediate health needs but also fosters a sense of unity and care within the community,” one official remarked.
