KRISHNAGAR, 12 MAR: A 16-year-old Madhyamik examinee was killed in a road accident on her way to examination center after the bike she was on pillion rider with her fiancé skidded off the road and rammed against the siderails this morning.
The incident occurred at Gacha under Nakashipara police station limits at around 11.30 am.
Police said the deceased has been identified as Bobita Khatoon (16) of Patpukur in Nakashipara. The victim was travelling along with her fiancé Anoar Sheikh. She was found critically injured when the accident held and she was immediately taken to the Saktinagar district hospital where the doctor pronounced her brought dead.
