MAKAUT gets international e-assessment award

KALYANI, 30 JUNE: Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology (MAKAUT) has been awarded with the e-Assessment Awards 2022 in the category of Best Summative Assessment Project Award 2022 at the International e-Assessment Conference and Awards held in London. The award was conferred to MAKAUT on 21 June.

The e-Assessment Association is a not-for-profit membership organisation based in the UK for consumers of, producers of and those with an interest in e-Assessment. They have been dedicated to furthering technology enhanced assessment adoption since 2008.

The e-Assessment Association has three major goals. To provide professional support and facilitate debate and discussion for people involved in this field of expertise; create and communicate the positive contributions that technology makes to all forms of assessment; and to develop statements of good practice for suppliers and consumers of e-Assessment technologies.

There were multiple rounds and finally shortlisted organizations had an online session of presentation and question answer session before the judges on 13 April 13. The finalists for the category of Best Summative Assessment Project Award, 2022 among the 45 nominations around the world were 1. Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology 2. Prodigy Learning with DOTS on Skillify – online standardised assessments national roll-out in Ireland 3. E-assessment at the University of Jeddah: A Step toward Aligning Assessment to Learning Outcomes.
