KRISHNAGAR, 14 JULY: In a bid to help the students searching for a right job, the Nikhil Bharat Shiksha Parisad (NBSP) has launched a unique Placement Mobile Application –‘info4jobs’ on Tuesday.
Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University (MAKAUT), WB, Vice Chancellor, Prof. Saikat Maitra has inaugurated it through a virtual programme. The App which is named ‘info4jobs’ can be downloaded from Google Play store.
The aim is to provide detailed information of various job notifications, internships and to co-operate students on various concerned issues including sharing views, said a member of NBSP. NBSP, an NGO, registered under MCA, GOI, holds Nikhil Bharat Council for Massive Open On – line Courses.
However, the newly launched application – info4jobs – will help students to get detailed information regarding jobs, internships etc.
After inaugurating the App, Prof Maitra said, “It is a unique application that will help the student community to get the job – notifications, internship – information, resources for workshops on developing technology, chances to share and exchange their views with successful students from various corners of the globe.”
He also said that the application would provide facilities like video CV development, getting old and fruitful interviews, solving the queries and many more too.
Informing that many more facilities would be added to the App in future, Manash Ghosh on behalf of NBSP said, “The development of such an Application was the brainchild of MAKAUT VC, Prof Saikat Maitra and we have given it the technological shape.”
At present, the students of MAKAUT University and its affiliated colleges, around 200 in number, will be allowed to download the app and later on, the app will be opened for all, Mr Ghosh said.
During his online speech, Prof Maitra said, “The pandemic plight has compelled us to be much attentive to ‘internship’. So, we are inclined to invite the small, medium and big organisations to encourage meeting their demands of internships and can prepare our students to be appointed in their organisations.”
