KRISHNAGAR, 7 MAR: The most prominent and honourable Shanta Maharaj (Internationally acclaimed doctorate) has been selected as Chancellor or Acharya of Chaitannya Saraswat Math of Nrisinghapur Dham after the sad demise of Nirmal Maharaj, acharya of the Math on 10 May, 2021.
Soon after His death (Nirmal Maharaj), there was confrontation among the followers while selecting the next Acharya and administrative control of the Math. Shanta Maharaj who handled the situation with his own able capacity has adorned the chair as Acarya of the Math on 13 December, 2021.
But, a general devotee has started demanding that he would be the next Acharya and made a nexus with a section of anti-socials and police to achieve his dream.
But, the villagers have formed an advisory committee comprising nine members which is administratively ordered and granted.
So, to uplift the eternal state and consciousness of all devotees and villagers, the advisory committee has arranged a grand festival or Maha Milan Utsav.
