KRISHNAGAR, 13 AUG: The shocking and brutal death of a young student at Jadavpur University has ignited outrage and fervent demands for accountability within the community. State Child Protection Commissioner Anyana Chakraborty visited the grieving family in Swapnadwip at Ranaghat on Sunday morning to offer condolences and address the concerning circumstances surrounding the incident.

The tragic demise of the student, a promising individual with dreams in his eyes, has left a deep scar on the community. Commissioner Chakraborty, speaking with the parents and relatives of the deceased, expressed her unwavering commitment to pursuing justice. “We cannot allow this matter to be brushed aside,” she declared, vowing to leave no stone unturned in the quest for answers.

Startling details have emerged from preliminary investigations, revealing the presence of cigarette stubs near the victim’s body.
