Party sources said both MPs from Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha will grace the occasion and they will observe this outside their party office on South Avenue Delhi.

It is also learnt that at 2 pm when Mamata Banerjee will address her party workers and supporters, Delhi Trinamul office will also telecast her address.

Political analysts feel that Mamata Banerjee will give a clarion call to her party workers to start the campaign against the Modi- government at the Centre.

“It is expected that she would address the abnormal fuel price hike, disinvestment and corporatization of PSUs and Navaratna companies, Draconian Farm Laws and anti-labour ordinance,” a senior party leader said.

He said, “We are waiting eagerly for our party chief to give us direction.”

Like last year, this year too, Martyr’s Day in Kolkata will be observed at low key due to Covid-19 pandemic and Mamata Banerjee will virtually address the masses.
