KRISHNAGAR, 26 APRIL: A youth was killed and another sustained multiple splinter wounds in an explosion at Bonali under Hanskhali police station limits in Nadia.
Police said the youth identified as Sushanta Roy (30) was killed and his friend Uttan Ghosh was critically injured when crude bombs went off on Saturday evening.
Sushanta succumbed to his injuries in Saktinagar district hospital while his friend who was also admitted in the Saktinagar district hospital was shifted to a hospital in Kolkata as his condition was critical.
Police officials have initiated a probe into this matter.
