KRISHNAGAR, 23 NOV: Chapra police under Krishnagar Police District in Nadia on Sunday recovered six country-made crude bombs from behind a house in Pukuria village under Chapra police station limits. Acting on confidential information received earlier in the day, a police team reached the spot behind the residence of Sona Sheikh and conducted a search.

During the operation, officers found six freshly prepared bombs concealed near the house. The explosives were seized following legal procedures. Police at the spot carried out preliminary examination and collected evidence related to the recovery.
Based on the seizure, a case is being registered at Chapra police station. An investigation has begun to identify those involved, determine the purpose of storing the explosives, and verify whether more persons are connected with the incident.
Chapra police stated that operations against illegal activities will continue and strict action will be taken as required.
